Nice, albeit short, night out at Alchemy's Tronic night last night (some pics here and here). Strikes me as kind of silly to even bother going unless I've arranged for a ride home. Cutting out before midnight is just kind of lame--people were just starting to really show up. No big deal, though, it was nice to be out and about

Reading about your apartment woes... that really sucks. I would seriously pester then about rent credit.. you've got a basically unuseable room, not to mention the fire hazzard with the exposed wiring and the leak still not being addressed, and you've had to take time off from work to boot. Raise holy hell until they fix things! >:)

Well, the exposed electrical stuff was fixed a while ago... of course, that "repair" led to other problems (like the hole in the ceiling where the previous light had been re-mounted). Not really a fire hazard, just unsightly and annoying.

Things have been working, the room has been usable, just not pretty and not at all in the condition it was when I moved in.

But, good news is, that should all be fixed now... or at least covered up until the next time something happens.
