Actually, once all the construction is done, our high school will be the second largest in the COUNTRY by square footage. Of high schools that are all one building, anyway. AND we have the largest high school band hall in the world.
No, I don't get it either.
There's 11,000 kids in the school district (which has parts of Cedar Hill, Desoto, and Dallas in it) and about 4000 in grades 9-12. And they decided not to build two high schools. So now we get a huge high school cause they're getting more and more kids. And other school districts around us are being smart and making more than one high school. *heh*
