You guys are amazing, you know that? This was one of the best birthdays I have ever had.

We just got home. I think Cal and the quails were happy to see us and the neighbour that watched them couldn't stop gushing over how cute they are. I need to make a vet appointment for Cal....must do that tomorrow.

I would be happy if we did something like that every year. I loved being able to spend time alone.

We have two right now. They are adorable. We might have more if the one egg that I think is about to hatch hatches.
