I don't usually partake in songfics, but this has been nagging me since one of the chapters of A Language of Their Own. That and a friend requested a drabble and I missed another friend's birthday. So I'm being lazy and rolling it all up into one. So Bela, I hope you like this and Happy way way way way way late Birthday, Jamie!!

That song was like, my lullaby since I was...gosh a baby! Though it was only that one verse, so I don't think my mom knew the rest of the song or it's meaning anyway. :/
So if I dream about sunflowers will Alfred be at the end of the row waiting with a bloody pipe? XD

And I have to say, I especially love this line: "Life wasn't worth living if Ivan had someone else."
Because when you are so in love this is exactly how you get to feeling. It's such a simple and perfect way of describing all the bad emotions love brings with it. When people think and write love, too often they tend to stray into territory where it's all sunshine and rainbows, which is fun, don't get me wrong, but it saddens me to see when the true passion, the intense emotions no one talks about, get glossed over.
Ah, I must say, I quite adore creeper Alfred. It suits him rather nicely! Good job on the wonderful writing!
