Looms confiscated by the TSA. That sounds like the title of some avant garde bit of poetry riffing pretentiously on the contrast between our modern industrialized world and the perfect paradise of the past.

Of course, it's possible that I'm running on too little sleep and too much adrenaline.

From the seller (the City of Raleigh) and the location (which I believe is on NCSU campus), I think these are likely just surplus from the NCSU School of Textiles. Although the image of the treacherous looms looming is pretty cool.

It's a shame I'm overloomed as it is - this is a great buy.
