Uh huh, RandyMcActorpants showed up Friday night at Joe's Pub and I'm so proud of fandom for representin' and coming back with goodies! So proud. Sniff. It reminds me of the Wicked days and I think Tracee and Gina must've seen it a million and one times to come back with so many reviews and those sound clips where we heard him sing. And it was good ( Read more... )

Thank you! I think that I just need to suck it up and start going if I want to go. No reason to hold back just because I don't have anyone to go with. Looking back I also realized it's kind of rife with technical writing errors but I wrote it at about 2 AM on Saturday night so I blame my drowsiness.

Wow, that sounds like an interesting theatre experience! I love Mark Ruffalo. I actually saw This is Our Youth with Fabrizio Filippo (Ian!) like, um, 5 years ago or so. I remember that it was good, but I don't really remember the plot. Anyway, there wasn't much of a set... it just basically looked like an apartment.... so it's not like you missed a whole lot of visuals.

Also, sorry 'bout those prop auctions. That's a bummer. :(

You know, that's when I first heard of the play. I've always been a huge fan of Fab's and always wanted to see him do theatre. So, it was a bummer that it was just ... 3,000 miles away from me. The dialogue is hysterical. I imagine that Fab was Warren, right? I remember they were wearing kind of Hawaiian shirts and that Woody Harrelson directed it. As you can see I was following it very closely, haha.

So bummed dude. :( I was outbid by .50 cents. FIFTY CENTS.

Yeah Woody Harrelson directed it! He sat right behind me that night and laughed really loudly at all the jokes. It was amusing. And Fab actually played Dennis. He was very good, and so was the guy who played Warren. I sort of developed a little 2 hour crush on that Warren guy....

OMG btw I am thrilled that you love Fab. I love him too and it bums me out when QAF fans usually hate him!

Fab played Dennis? Wow. Cannot imagine that for some reason. I remember his writing partner Marcello was in that with him so that would be Warren! Warren's character is absolutely fantastic and adorable, right? I don't blame you for crushing on him a little. I crushed on Mark Ruffalo when he was being adorable.

Oh gosh, I LOVE Fab. I've literally had a crush on him since I was 8 years old since he was in my favorite episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark. I'm so proud of that, haha.
