Thank you! I tried to show that Ryan was more hurt at a perceived rejection than anything else, then the exchange in the diner was Chad's way of reassuring him, but it may not have come across the way I intended. Thanks for all your thoughtful feedback!

Very nice! Extremely well-written, with a certain kind of style that was so great to read -- not overwrought, simple in a complicated kind of way. Hm, I'm afraid that made no sense. But the characterizations and dialogue were both lovely! Great job!

No, it totally made sense. I see Ryan as a very unpretentious, uncomplicated character at heart, and since this was from his POV, I wanted to keep it very straightforward. I'm glad you liked it. :)

Thank you!! I was especially worried about not making a caricature out of Sharpay (something I see a lot of in fic sometimes) so it's really great to hear this.
