We live near the border of Sunland/Tujunga. When the Angeles Crest fire was blazing out of control ash was falling like a snow storm and the air was a thick sickly yellow/black making it difficult to breathe. We constantly had that sour burning taste in our mouths and swollen tearing eyes. It has been so much worse than last year's fires which actually came (physically) closer to us.

Wow, you guys had it way worse than I did and I really really had a rough time during the fires. Still running an air clean around the clock, but haven't been wanting to jump out of my skin leaving the house, so prob okay now.

Interesting that the fires being closer last year did not bother you as much. I thought it was weird that, when I could see Griffith Park on fire from my place, the smoke did not bother me nearly as much. Maybe it has to do with what sort of materials burned this time?
