You're lucky that shoulder length hair means "hair to the shoulders" for you! That amount of hair on me would be (easily) five times more voluminous and look like a hairy brown cloud. Like I had five birds nesting in there or something (wants straight hair)

See, and I always wish my hair had more shape and volume to it. Grass is always greener, I suppose.
