Slash is everywhere! My crowning moment is still the moment when I was watching 1776 and thought, "hmm, Adams/Jefferson or Jefferson/Adams?"

I blame this all on you, you see.

Hee hee! I missed what I later heard was a priceless panel at MW*C about five years ago - supposedly the winners of the "most unusual slash pairing" actually performed the staircase scene and got huge laughs... without changing the dialogue!
"But I burn, Mr. A!"
"So do I, Mr. J!"

Apparently the biggest laugh was for the line, "By sheer physical force if necessary." I can no longer watch that movie with a straight (!) face!

Well, yeah. Slash is everywhere. I'm still waiting for the climatic shag before the fight on the edge of a volcano in Episode III, myself. Anakin/Obi-Wan is the hottest thing in the prequels so far, text orsub-text.

Though now I am intrigued by 77 Sunset Strip by sheer description alone.

(snicker) The more you watch, the more you slash... A lot of the, ahem, older shows are excessively slashy that way. :)
