I realized that I never posted these here, and we must give equal time to the good guys! Gary Raymond, who played Moffitt, appeared on the Saint TV show, where he was highly entertaining as the villain, Gilberto Arroyo.

I didn't recognise the henchmen at all!

Isn't it fun seeing 'main character actors' in other series? I really like Gary's turn in UFO.

Totally!

Oh, I love that ep of UFO! "The Man Who Came Back." I thought GR was excellent in it, plus it was a really interesting episode in and of itself. I should screencap it! I lent out my DVDs, but I think it's on YouTube.

I wrote up a lengthy review of it during my first Rat Patrol fannish period, which is still on the Web because nothing ever disappears! Here it is:

I thought it was a really good episode too! I can't stand Derren Nesbitt (he totally gives me the creeps) but he was good in that ep. I always wondered what happened to the UFO doctor as that wasn't shown.

I really like your write up of it. Thanks! <3

TODS and I, when we first watched UFO, would always joke that Straker's ultimate threat with a misbehaving employee would go something like, "Mend your ways, or I'll send you to [dramatic pause] Doctor Jackson!" And then said employee would whimper and cave in, of course.

I must say, my enthusiasm for watching Roger Moore has declined since B and I began watching The Saint on Amazon Prime. He IS smug. *wrinkles nose*

But he's still handsome.

I enjoy seeing familiar character actors too, even though I don't usually know their names.

He is easy on the eyes, I'll give him that!

It's fun, isn't it! I love looking them up on the IMDB to see where I know them from. I think that's what I use my cell phone for the most.
