There's an early episode - can't remember which one - when Uhura tries to coax Spock to sweet-talk her. "Why don't you say I'm a beautiful young lady and you'd like to take me for a walk in the moonlight?" Baffled, Spock replies, "Lieutenant, Vulcan has no moon." IIRC, she harrumphs back to her station.

... Yeah, I ship it now. I need more ST icons.

Somewhere in Next Gen, Ambassador Spock does a mind-meld with Picard - isn't it to give him a huge data-dump, as Spock did for Kirk in the new movie?

Spock appeared in a two-parter episode, I think (though the name escapes me). IIRC, he was working to reunite the Romulans with the Vulcans. Picard sees Sarek at the beginning of the ep, and Sarek dies either with Picard or soon after. At the end, Picard invites Spock to initiate a mind-meld so he'll find out how much his father loved him.

I can't wait to see the film! It sounds like it's really good. :oD

According to the audio book, which covers a lot of little things:

The car belonged to George Sr.

I am, as always, awed by the power of your geekiness! And it's fun to see these things listed out.

I think McCoy was my favorite, too; Karl Urban just got his mannerisms down pat, it was hella impressive. I enjoyed all of them, though, and I just wanted to hug Simon Pegg.

Baffled, Spock replies, "Lieutenant, Vulcan has no moon." IIRC, she harrumphs back to her station.

But not before saying, "Commander, I am not surprised." And Spock gives a kind of rueful half smile and nods to himself.

It totally looked to me like they enjoyed each other, including each other's ... differences? eccentricities? cultural behaviors? That scene was part of the reason that I've been a closet Spock/Uhura shipperg for about 30 years.
