Ooo, I can especially see why the 2nd one was a mod's choice - the coloring/lighting you got going on there is really gorgeous, and works perfectly with the cap.

Thank you! I was playing around with the curves feature, and when it got to that point I stopped and said, "Whoa. Got something here."

These are lovely. I like how you played on the Deschanel girl's fair skin and dark hair in the second one!

Thanks! I thought it was a particularly lovely screencap of her that they picked as a base (the contest runners give you several caps to work from). When I was playing with the curves feature in PhotoShop I really liked the way this setting seemed to highlight her apart from the others.
