I've made my first attempt at icon-making! Another sign that pocketwitch has succeeded in pimping me into the LJ community hook, line, and sinker!

People like elke_tanzer and gblvr were so kind to make them for me - it didn't really occur to me that I could try making one myself until just recently

The icon is really spiffy, too! If you ever wanna try your hand at animated gifs, I can refer you to the nifty freeware I use to make 'em.

Okay, I was a *little* off - it's free to evaluate (you can use it 50 times before it shuts down) but if you want to buy it, it's only $8. I plan to buy it at some point - that's a reasonable price and it's a very good bit of software. But you can use it a bunch before having to pay.
