Post to your LJ with a list of five (or more) items of Tin Man personal canon. This can be anything from plothole-filling to character backstory to what you really, really, REALLY think happens after the credits roll.
1. Ambrose is the Queen's brother, hence the portrait. It doesn't matter whether he's older or younger because the O.Z. is a matriarchy.
2. Ambrose was very happy when Azkadellia was born because that relieved any fear that he might inherit the throne; he's much happier in the lab and the war-games room.
3. Headcasing had been an established punishment for years. Lavender Eyes abolished it and created the Realm of the Unwanted as an alternative form of punishment. Some criminals like the Realm of the Unwanted so much that they don't leave when their time is up. Since it's run by an extended branch of the prison system, it actually has better municipal services than Central City.
4. There is a spell in the O.Z. such that the language continuously evolves to keep pace with American English in ways that appear copmletely natural to the speakers. It's not a perfect spell, hence words like "annual" creep in.
5. Tutor is more than he seems, but I haven't figured out quite what. He may be a magic-user from the Otherside. Perhaps he was the Defense of the Dark Arts teacher before Quirrell and slipped to the O.Z. because of a prank by ickle firsties Fred and George.
