"I thought we'd start with the basic inventory we carry," she says, gesturing at the sheets in front of her. "We get a lot of magickal people in who know what they want and why they want it. The regulars know where it is and will usually get it, except for the herbs, which we measure out. But we get a lot of foot trade from the street as well. People come in. They wander. They think it's fun to buy candles and crystals and they'll want to know what the best one is for this or that. The fluff bunnies," she shudders at the word, "also want to come in and talk about love and light and buy lots of quartz and rose oil and white candles."
He leans over to study the papers. "You'd think, with everything magic can do, there'd be a cure for the bunnies. Or at least a repellent. 'Thou Shalt Not Be Clueless' Charm," he says, deadpan expression. "We could make some serious money off that."
