Oh wow, this is a lovely piece of writing. The flits back and forth across the timeline, the inherent arrogance in Sherlock's narration, the tenderness of Mycroft even as he reaches his limits. I love fics that really tackled Sherlock's addictions, and this is a great example.

Oh dear, this is really really sweet. I liked it a lot--particularly Sherlock sneaking back upstairs to his big brother. :)
