I didn't think I was going to miss Alabama this much. I've always loved the South but I thought I could survive without it. Whenever Elizabeth and I get homesick we put on the southern CD Katie Fowler and I made and lay on my bed. Nick didn't know what a camellia was. I mean, come on. It gets easier, I swear. Although, I started listening to country music for the first time after coming to college in the north. Its silly, the things you miss. After a while though, you go home and realize you miss it up here. You end up always missing something, no matter where you are. Crazy.

It is weird the things you miss and it's also weird the things you don't miss. All the leaves are changing colors and it's so crazy! I've always wondered why people like fall so much and now I know. I can't wait to carve a pumpkin!
