Oh woe is meeee.

I haven't had an actual post that wasn't a meme in a while... So here it goes.

** My car is in the shop until next Wednesday, for a tune up and other things. It's going to cost me about 300 bucks to fix up. I wish I actually had that kind of money to spend. So, after all my bills are paid, I'm setting up payment arrangements with my garage. Luckily ( Read more... )

Yikes, sorry about the car. Automobiles can be such a pain in the ass sometimes. D: Well... technology in general, for that matter. >| I hate asking for rides, too. I really only get rides when they're offered.... but good luck! And if you still don't wanna ask, walking 4 miles a day is healthy. :P

I wanna upgrade my LJ account! I've been thinking about doing it, because I hate the 15 pics, too! I have so many saved on my computer. XD But I really should spend money on more important things...

I'm glad your pop-pop pulled through! I will keep him in my thoughts and wish him a speedy recovery. :)

Haha, yeah technology has it's ups and downs for sure.
If it was a little cooler out I would have no problem walking those 4 miles. I used to do it all the time before I had a car. It's just been so hot this summer! *dies* The humidity is killing me.

They give you the option of paying every 12, 6, 3, 2, and 1 month. I chose the 3 months I believe, and it came to 7 bucks. Which isn't bad. Paying the lump sum is a little more hard.

Thank you! :-) I was worried about him for a long while until I got a phone call he was out of the surgery. I'm going to see him on Sunday, so hopefully he's feeling up to a good long chat.

Ugh, I'm so sorry about your car! Stuff like that is such a hassle. Unexpected bills are the WORST and they always seem to pop up at the most inconvenient times. I'm glad the mechanic was nice and is letting you make payments, though. :(

I'm glad your pop-pop made it through surgery. <3 I hope he continues getting even better. I will keep him in my prayers, lovey!

*points at userpic* thats how much I HATE bills. Being an adult sucks.

I'm very lucky to have a mechanic who won't screw me over. He's a great guy. He cuts people breaks because he knows how it is. *nods* If anyone deserved more clients it'd be him.

I'm going to see him tomorrow, he was up and walking around already today! :-) I'm suprised he's doing so well. He is 80 years old. I forget how old my grandparents are sometimes, because they never act like they are old. And thank you, love. <3

That totally sucks about the car, but it's good that you had a nice mechanic. I hope you're able to deal with going to and back from work until then though!

I'm glad to hear your pop-pop made it through the surgery and he's okay! *hugs*
