I love European bluntness and how their politicians have a good sense of humor. That would have been really cool to go to. My colonel here is very knowledgeable on world affairs (he was a commander in South Korea, so he has some very top-secret clearance) and it's cool to hear about stuff that the media doesn't really report on.

I hope you come to NOLA for New Years! I'll be there as well :-D
