Kira and Y!Gallery

This just hasn’t been my week. It has been overall rather frustrating on a number of personal fronts, then on top of that I received a email from someone with mutual interests in Kira. It seems she has totally shut down her site and isn’t going to publish her books, no big surprise.

Of course I had not received any communication from her an emailed her in regards to refunds and lifetime access. Her reply was I was suppose to provide her with receipts, bank statement(over my dead body), and a driver’s licence o_O. She is claiming she isn’t issuing refunds to anyone that can’t prove they are over 18. Yeah like that is legal or honest. She is basically doing everything she can to make it impossible for people to receive refunds. Most people don’t keep emails over three years. Luckily I did but I’m not send a finically sensitive document like a bank statement over email, not to mention letting her browse through my spending habits for a couple of months *snort*. Give me a break that is soooo unsafe.

Supposedly I will receive access to her new christian site (like that is compatible with yaoi) but since I’m bashing her here and basically said the same thing here in an email to her although a little more polite she will ban me for breach of her terms of service which I have NOT signed or agreed to. With each new stunt she pulls the more hostile I am becoming. I don’t care if she has a religious revelation that yaoi is bad, what I do care about is her horrible business practices. If she had just sent an email say hey I’m closing down Yaoi house, please contact me for any outstanding obligations and I didn’t have to jump through damn hoops to get the refund than I won’t have any hostility.

Now that is out of my system (not really). Yet another artist I like got banned on Y!Gallery o_O I’ve been there less than a month and that makes the second one. I noticed all their submission are still up yet they can’t access their account to delete them. I really need to find out if you have been banned if you can request that your submissions be deleted or not. If they can’t and Y!Gallery basically holds them hostage after you have been banned then I will have to seriously think about deleting all my writings there. After all as the writer/artists I should be able to have all rights to my work not Y!Gallery. Honestly I think it is a little shady of them to keep art of a banned member up at all, even if they can’t delete the account they should do what Deviant art does and clear out the account. After all these are supposable law breakers, whey let their work remain up?
