Code Blue: mmk, good to know.

Utahime is too angsty for me, thanks - I try to avoid sad endings and I know exactly how it ends from dangermousie's posts:)

I can't remember what I recommended before but...

Flowers for my life is a must. To this date, it's the most beautiful, touching, inspirational and hilarious Korean drama i've had the pleasure of watching.

A million stars falling from the sky is one of my all time favorites. It's very dark and angsty without being overly melodramatic (Just what I like!). The plot constantly keeps you on your toes and the chemistry between the OTP is amazing.

I can't help myself...I must also recommend Tamra the island. What can I say, it's one of my favorite dramas of the year :P

ooh, Million Stars was definitely on my list before so thank you!!

Tamra...everyone likes it, but I'm kind of burnt out on teen/very youthful romance. and it just doesn't seem like my thing.

If you want weepy, I'll suggest 1 Litre no Namida. It's already on your list.

Also already on your list is Legend, which I adored.

I saw you also had Sorry, I Love You, so I'll suggest A Love To Kill, which is my number one favorite drama and super angsty. SILY was sad but I don't remember sobbing as much in that as I did ALTK which wrecked me. Plus, Rain being a hot bodyguard!!! And the makeout sessions are pretty steamy in ALTK, I don't really remember any kissing in SILY.

Smile Again was HORRIBLE. I only watched for LDG (?). The main actress had 2 expressions, confused and constipated. Ugh. I ended up watching for the secondary storyline and abandoned the main romantic plot.

I actually don't angsty dramas - Sorry I Love You is one of the very few I"ll make an exception for. ALTK I know is excellent but way, WAY too angsty for me. :)

Judging by the dramas you liked (mostly love stories with good endings) and by some of the things you said you don't like I would rec:

- Beautiful days (OMPH! Awesome!)
- When it's at night (it somehow reminds me slightly of "Partner" and "Lawyers", but I can't quite explain why :D)

How about "Stranger Than Paradise/Heaven"? Lee Lee Sung Jae is so adorable in it and Uhm Tae Woong does one of his 'bad boys with a heart'. Kim Min Jung fits in very well as the lady in between. Oh, despite of the 'sort-of-triangle', there's no waffling about the OTP. And I love the two guys together, ha. There's drama sickness but it's not really central to the story and no-one dies. Ending is good too.

BTW, B&W is surprsingly not an angstfest though it does have angsty bits. It's sort of like a more cheerful version of Iris. If that makes any sense...

Cheesh, didn't I just manage to reply to alexandral's post and not the main one... *headdesk*
