I hate CSI

I absolutely hate CSI. Almost as much as Mythbusters, and for the same reason - it's pseudo-science. Yes, Mythbusters is pseudo-science edu-tainment.

I get too pissed off at their un-thorough science to enjoy the wacky shit. My favorite example of this was a viewer wondering if a sinking ship would pull you down into it as it sunk. Obviously, there are about four hundred different things affecting this, like ship size, sinking speed, hell even the salinity of the water will affect how buoyant things are in it. They decide to sink an old rotting tug boat and see if the two of them feel any "pull" as it sinks. Keep in mind this is a controlled sinking in a harbor.

How in the hell are you supposed to get any actual science from this? I'm sitting here going "Take the fucking beret off you bald-headed idiot, and do some actual science. Jamie, quit crossing your eyes and putting your clipboard on your head like a hat. Science, you god damn idiots, science."
