Oh, ick. I always hated those dang trees on campus. It somehow smelled worse than the Potomac. I made the mistake once of accidentally stepping in a pile of leaves and seeds and had to scrape out the gunk that was stuck in the bottom of the shoe to get rid of the stink. Eww, eww, eww. I do not miss that aspect of the city. New DC rule-no ginkgo trees.
