People are like street maps. I start out wondering which way to go with them. Which streets lead somewhere, how to interpret sign posts and in my particular case i need to learn tact and caring when negotiating them. I might be lucky and find my way blindly thru the streets without so much as a hitch, but more often than not i'll end up facing the wrong way on a one way steet at some time or another. In some ways id rather learn the way properly, by encountering the wrong turns and one way streets, for to make my way around the map under the allusion that im always gonna get places via plain sailing only makes the dent deeper when it finally comes. Id rather accidently take the wrong turn, learn from and correct my mistakes and do my damndest not to take out any light poles or pedestrians on the way. That way i can learn the map in such a way that when i come to know all, or as many of the streets and locales as i can, i know them well, and i motor along in a fashion that is only beneficial, both to myself and the map itself. So typical you, to take the hard road, and persevere. To not take shortcuts, to be there through thick and thin, to worm your way in through the barbed wire of one's soul. Most importantly, not to ask for directions!
Stay as you are.

Thank you for the insight.

I suspect the best is yet to come, but its largely up to you what you really value in life.

Cooking is a delicious pain. Not everyone develops a taste for it, but once you do...

Finding your balance between security and freedom may help, but this can be an eye-opener.

Hope is good. Decisions and actions are better. There is no right and wrong - just what feels appropriate at the time.

Hola, how was the Argentino?

Shame to have missed you yesterday.

Thanks too for your insight, will have to persist with that cooking thing.

And on hope, yes, hanging on to it is hard but it's rewarding too when you realise it is always worth hanging on to

Where there is sun there will be rain .
where there is joy there has to be sorry.
Where there is certainty there will be confusion.
Where there is the man of your dreams- there will be a child's story book.
You can only have what you work for .
You can only give what is already in you.
You can only receive what you are willing to risk taking.
You can only move forward trusting in the chance that you will get there.

To you who I may or may not know, who wrote me this message.
Thank you for taking the time, and adding some more light to life. It's posts like these that make me *know* that there is so much beauty out there, and sometimes when you don't expected, a beam of sun will peek through the clouds....

Dancing around that which is steady.
Reaching for that which is already within your grasp,
Costly questions about your own ability
To rewrite the history of your past.
The past cant be rewritten-only learned from-then used to rework a future.

Dancing around that which is wholesome.
Searching for that unique scent.
Fearful and gazing at your own insecurity.
You own fear of the good.
The future is a journey of rough and smooth for us all, best taken when holding the hand of one much less fearful than ones self.
