No one’s called me an asshole in nearly a week, and we both know that’s something I relie on you for. I had to insite a complete stranger into calling me an asshole last Tuesday and it absolutely broke my heart. Do cooperate.

this is lovely, and your letters are so very much in-character - which I think is hard to do sometimes, but you've done it fantastically. ♥ the ending fills me with joy, because ARTHUR MISSING HIS FLIGHT JUST TO TALK TO EAMES! ♥♥, hearts in my eyes (because yes, of course I read this as arthur/eames, how could I not.)

Well I wrote it that way! I had to go back and add that, "this isn't actually all that shippy!" warning after I'd posted, I sort of forgot there was no actual face-to-face time for Arthur and Eames in this whole thing.

It's his romantic comedy gesture for, you know, THE DECADE. Eames had better appreciate it!
