Ok, up until this point I've always stressed that I am party neutral. I choose to ally myself neither with the republicans, nor the democrats....not the Green party or the libertarians....the reason for this is that I want to choose what I think is best for the country, without being pressured by party lines.

I maintain that this is the only reason why Bush was elected to a second term. He manipulated our fears, just like Gulianni is apparently trying to do with his campaign stance.  The difference is, we've had more time to collect ourselves. And by trying to be a hardliner, he's become a blowhard instead.
