I suppose I should update with what's been going on in my personal life more often. My whims on the Internet tend to shift with certain changes...like my reading a front page article in the life section of a major American newspaper saying that Facebook was tracking it's users in a manner which I found to be a serious invasion of privacy...so I'll ( Read more... )

And that is one of the reasons why I never post very often on Facebook. It's just so universal which also makes it so traceable for all kinds of weird people and things that I don't want to be a part of!

My mate is ADDICTED to Monster Hunter Tri. She's (thankfully) taken a break from it to concentrate on her crafts ... but once you've had a chance to familiarize yourself with the game mechanics and have upgraded your hunter well enough, you should try the online hunting and meet up with her!

The article I read said that Facebook uses a protocol (one that was actually developed by Google) that allows Facebook to log every website you've visited for the past 90 days. Why on Earth would they need to do that? I'm sure they're already gathering enough data about their users interests and shopping habits merely through their "like" system and the ability to cross post to the wall from other websites. Big Brother is watching you, I guess..

I haven't gotten around to playing it yet, but I want to! I need to make the time for it. But sure, tell your mate I'd be happy to hunt down monsters with her! I have no idea what the online play is like or how large the community is...game has been out for a while and multiplayer in some other games of that age is more or less deserted.

As amazing as it is, I've noticed that certain types of those televisions don't like non HD programming. The screen will reduce the faces of actors and newscasters into polished Barbie doll faces out of a lack of detail to supply in the necessary places.
Personally, I prefer the Reebok Pump, because it was featured in Nintendo's Drac's Night Out.
