Sadly, I'm limited only to conventions local to me because I haven't any vacation time to spend yet; I only started working at my current job last Fall. While I would like to attend very much both of the cons you mention, they are both so far away from my home state that I don't think I could attend them comfortably without being able to take a day or two off.

But there's always next year! You've still got like, four more CD's that I need to buy and have autographed. ;)

Yeah, that would be CCI that they've been doing charity for every year that I've been there. It's the same CCI that the some of the Carolina Furs do volunteer work for.

Cool beans. I know there are lots of animal orgs all around, but I had never heard of CCI before. Looks like they're doing good work!
