I saw 'Spider-Man 3' today and thought it was crap. The second half of the movie reminded me a bit of 'Batman Forever' and the 2005 'Doctor Who christmas special'. NOT GOOD! It looks like the franchise might be able to make another film out of the success of this one (if it is successful), but if it they continue along the same trajectory as this

Yours is one of many less than stellar reviews I've read so far. I'm a bit concerned that they've crammed too much content and too many plot threads into the one film. When I see it, I'll leave my expectations at the door.

Okay, it does have the occasional funny moment, and the odd good fighting scene, so lets acknowledge those at least too...
