Who's Left Behind, Anyway?

Remember my prom date? From my 4-H club? Well, he and his family had been wanting to take me to Friendly's as a thank-you thing, but we were both ridicuously busy this summer. So, instead, Derek and I had ice cream at their house, and we also watched a movie. Which movie, you ask? Left Behind

I'm not religious at all, so I don't believe in it. I don't really believe in life after death either, but I respect people who do, as long as they don't use their faith for hate(slut-shaming, homophobia, intolerance etc). My grandparents use it for good, so I know that people are capable of that. idk, rant.

A lot of my friends are non-Christian, and of that the largest portion are atheist, so you're not alone.

I never understood "Christians" who use the Bible to justify hating and discriminating against people who aren't like them. I mean, if they truly loved Jesus and understood His message, they'd "love their neighbor as themselves" (the most important Commandment, according to Jesus himself). I think that's part of what bugs me about the Rapture; it's almost another way for those "Christians" to put themselves above everybody else.
