In one of my classes, we recently put on a production that was all about words. Why people react to them, which ones have power, how their meanings can be changed. It was a very powerful piece. I liked this, and it makes me think about what I say.
I mean, I say things like "That's so gay" but I definitely don't mean it in an offensive way. It was just... something picked up from a friend or something? I don't know. But my gay cousin, he whacks me whenever I happen to say that, so I'm slowly being weaned off of saying it in an insulting manner.

I was sort of hoping people wouldn't actually read my journal. -_- I've only started using lj at all the past few months so I had no idea what to write and I was pissed when I wrote this... but I'm glad I made *somebody* think. :)

LOL. Sometimes the most meaningful posts occur when one is pissed, or controlled by some other powerful emotion.

I'm really glad you posted this, though. P: I hope you post more entries for us to read!
