Slurpee goodness and kitty cat snores

Saturday I spent working on my doll's wig. I was so happy when I finished it, it only took me about 12 hours. And then I tried it on his head....it was just a 'hair' tight and won't stay on. I think I need a wig cap? to give it some suction??? I'm hoping my dolly mentor can help me out with a possible solution ( Read more... )

Huh. I haven't been to the movies in a long time. Might be fun to go see Percy Jackson or Alice...

You wanna go? I was thinking the earliest showing, cause there are usually less people then. ^^;

Sure, let me grab the EW and give you some times...Love the early showing with less people thing!!! Either is fine with me if you have a preference.

Alice: 1220, 140, 3pm...
Percy: 1235, 330...

When would be good to come over? I know you mentioned having to pay rent...

That's why I'm sometimes MIA from lj for a few days or more. I get to where if I were to post it would simply sound overly whiny instead of just an update type post and I can't stand sounding whiny!!! =p I don't want to jinx anything, but I think that this round of meds might actually being doing some good...so there's always hope. And good friends! *huggles*

What were you and Bec thinking of seeing at the movies? And FTW on the Red Converse!!! When I was working the only shoes that I could/would wear were Airwalks...and they were a brand that I could kind of afford when Payless Shoes had them on sale or Bogo. They were a pair of shoes that actually didn't kill my feet or back and still looked cool!

If the wig isn't staying on, a little piece of velcro usually does the trick and is easy to come by. A silicone wig cap can be ordered from pretty much any dealer. DDE has them and they're not very expensive ($5 maybe?).

Thanks for the great tip! That's kind of what I thought. Anyways, I've started on another wig in a different color and am hoping it fits a bit better. I'll check into either velcro or the silicone cap...
