Firstly, of course, wishing you all a very happy New Year! Talking to you all this past year has meant an awful lot to me; here's to another year, and that it may be a fine one. *hugs*

Now, on to fic. If there's anyone even remotely interested in Twin Peaks, let me just re-pimp my awesome Yuletide gift, If It Had To Perish Twice, as well as this ( Read more... )

I have been trying to come up with feedback of substance and the most I can muster is a comment on the fact that the ending of the story gave me the feeling of having my heart blown out of my chest by the strength of the belief that Albert has for, in, Cooper. And the belief they have or the belief that they hope they will have, in each other. Mostly the last three lines destroyed me.

Also, your Cooper voice is, as always, quite good, and I really enjoyed the lists of what was wrong.

Thank you so much for the feedback! I love how you mention the belief Coop and Albert have in each other, because that's how I see them, too: they are each other's strength. Neither of them is fearless or faultless in or from themselves; one of them can be scared or worried or doubtful at any given time, but then the other one will instinctively jump to be the strong one, to provide an anchor. That's what I tried, in a small way, to communicate here, and I'm really glad that was how it came across to you, too. (Though, of course, nemo_everbeing's own coda to her stort trumps mine in every possible way. Have you read hers? If not, you should, because it's just drop-dead gorgeous.)

The list of "little" and "big" wrongs is something I really enjoyed writing; it seemed to me like something Cooper would think. Because he's compulsive like that. :)

Ahh, Albert appeared on my screen (Twin Peaks rewatch to get my head in the game so to speak) just as I pulled your comment up to respond. Happy coincidences!

I have read hers, it is beautiful. I like having two codas though, I think it's great to have two different takes on the story! They both make my heart swell and they're both such interesting takes on how their relationship could/would develop. The idea of them being an anchor for each other is just lovely as well.
