While holed up in a safehouse with the Young Avengers, Bucky finally gets a chance to have a talk with Steve. Not that he’s exactly ready for it, even if it, and the outcome, are inevitable.

( “Steve…” He swallowed hard, voice strangling in his throat.

“Bucky…” Steve moved closer until he was crowding him against the wall. )

Bittersweet and yet so beautiful, Rose!

I've always love these two, and Steve's grief over Bucky's death always touched me. Now that Bucky's back, Steve is still on his side, no matter what. And Bucky is still drawn to him, despite everything and the nightmare that he's lived for years.

A wonderful scene between them!

And 'right' is the right word.

This is one of the sweetest Steve/Bucky fics I've ever read. And you get their characterizations down quite well; Steve just knows that he has his friend, his brother, his lover, his soulmate back and he wants to embrace him fully, even if Bucky doesn't think he deserves it. I could almost cry from the sap here. Thanks.

Cpa/Bucky! This was very wibblish cute. I love your writing! You really seemed to get Cap and their relationship well. Excellent work!
(Any chance you would Ship Steve/Tony... -not subtle at all am I? ^_^)
