I came across this story a while back but never left a comment. Finding it again, it's still as awesome and adorable as it was the first time.

Also, this is somewhat off-topic, but I love the fact you use "bemused" correctly. So many people seem to think it's synonymous with "amused".

I have a great dislike for etomological mix-ups as well (lightning and lightening being one of my least favorite), so I'm glad I didn't make any here! And I'm glad you liked this little ficlet.

So cute~~ I love how you make Lyle so scientific. I feel like a lot of writers forget that he's a smart kid too. Smart is so sexy~ lol

"And what Brainy didn’t know, he couldn’t use as a reason to get revenge upon Lyle." Such ulterior motives, Brainy!! haha. This is so in character. Brainy is a horrible person. I love him.
