Fantastic take on Claire! Adore the way Slade approaches her. This makes me crave more DCU/Heroes crossover. :)

Wonderful x-over! Your Slade voice was perfect and I always wondered if Claire was like Wolverine where she wouldn't really age. Thanx for giving me the answer! =)

OOh... now I really wish I'd seen more of Heroes, so that I could get more of what's going on.

Though, really, a female version of Slade - if not quite - scares me. Lots. Well done!

Nice story, but if you don't mind a critique, the description of Claire's powers seems a little off. Tough yes, tank no.

Claire isn't stronger than any other girl her age, she just heals really fast (including coming back from the dead when something was stuck in her brain), regerates fingers if they're cut off, and has a very high pain threshold. Of course 20 years on she might be a lot tougher, but the real tank in this universe is Jessica / Nikki, the schizophrenic who's pretty much an unstoppable killing machine. The only others to potentially match her are Syler, a telekinetic who steals people's power by eating their brains, and Peter Petrelli, who borrows other people's powers and has survived exploding with the power of an A-bomb.

This would be the part where it's obvious you didn't read the note I added to this story when I linked it to comms. I've never seen Heroes, and anyway, several decades later, who knows what Slade was able to find out? Her powers are similar to his in some ways, and that's all I was going on.

Actually I read your note, but since this stuff is very easy to find out without watching the show, and I assumed you'd done some research, I was wondering if you had Claire confused with Nikki. Never mind.
