I have gotten a couple of "friend" invites on Facebook that are obviously porn bots. Apparently, no corner of the internet is safe.

It was bad enough when myspace whores started show up on facebook. I always hoped/prayed/imagined that LJ was somehow safe from all that. sigh.

As for quitting LJ, I bitch, but I don't know if I could actually stay away. I still feel like the connections with people I have through LJ even though a lot of people I know rarely post here anymore. Its nice to keep in touch with people who do.
