It seems you enjoyed the movie as much as I did. I was surprised how well the movie turned out, since I was thinking it would end up being akin to the old movies. My friend, who read the comics, tells me they changed his origins, but as far as I'm concerned, it made a great movie. Hopefully they're planning on doing a sequel (since they set it up for one).

oh oh oh, did they ever! Even if they just go and remake the other ones (with Cristian Bale, of course) I'd be happy - this film just had such a glowing darkness that the others sorely lacked. Yay! it's the day after and I'm still high on Batmania!

...and I really really need to read the comics now, and the John Constantine ones, and Lucifer, and Sin City, and the rest of Sandman, and... damn it Minotaur, why are you so expensive! Does anyone know of a comic store in Melbourne apart from the purple pop-culture mega-rip-off-store?
