Bane is definitely a left-field villain for me too- but I guess we've tapped the rest of the rogues. I actually really like the idea though- maybe they'll draw a little from Knightfall?
Catwoman I think I expected a bit, if only to provide another love-interest subplot. I have reservations on Anne Hathaway cause I just can't see it right now, but I expect she'll surprise me.
That's a good point about Knightfall. Maybe we'll get to see Batman do more hand-to-hand combat in the movies with an opponent that poses a real challenge.
I expected Catwoman but not Anne Hathaway. This is going to be such a trailer to anticipate to see how they're going to interpret the looks of Catwoman and Bane.
I've been waiting for an announcement and had just about given up on Selina being in the movie since everything was all Talia, all the time, so I'm pleasantly surprised! And like you said, I never even considered Ms. Hathaway for Selina, but I think she could pull it off! *crosses fingers*
