He said he will as if people can die suddenly but he don't want to get married yet!!! He wants to die single XDDDD

I like that he want Japan to become more open to the world.
Thank you dear for the trans.

Thanks so much!

That would be awesome if he could travel around the world and have it be documented like the Route 66 show! I'm sure Yamapi, and us as well, would enjoy that!

IKR! I love travel shows so it'd be awesome if Pi did something similar.

re: "I thought America would be different, but it's actually pretty much the same."

I'm happy he was able to see how we are all more similar than different from one another.

I loved the feel of this interview. You can see how much his Rt. 66 trip affected him in such a positive way. And I couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of "Farmer Pi".
Thank you for your hard work. Every month, reading your translation is a highlight for me!!

I also chuckled at his "farmer" job if he were to quit. Reminds me of when he said he would grow rice if he retired. Lol, I just can't imagine it!

really japanese people build a shell around friendship and occidentals are weir for calling other friends so quickly, is just a matter of culture but he cant compare himself with normal people, he is famous ~ so thats one of the things famous people tend to lose, plus he is shy so the virtuosity of being actively social and the need of having lots of friends doesnt look like his motto~
he only would be a farmer as a role in a drama xD
thanks a lot x sharing this translation darling ^^

You're right, he is not the average guy! Well, he kind of is, but he is in a special position. Luckily in his job he gets to have a wide array of experiences :)
