Mmmmm tasty and appropriate - Sebastian deserves this, definitely. Ciel however perhaps not enough of a martyr to provide. He lacks the martyr complex I am usually so drawn to. What a reversal. Sebastian is then the martyr in the end. But not there and I thank you for it!

Ciel may not have a martyr complex as some would define it, but he really had this sense of "I pay my debts, I am too honorable to wiggle out of them, even if it means my death," didn't he. Which may not be martyrical but is noble, for all his brattishness, isn't it. That's why the ending of series 1 fit so well, so inevitably. Thank you so much for reading this! *hugs*
