So I'm slow and didn't realize that Thursday May 29th is the night I fly out to Dallas to crash Tiff's house for a few days and then as the penny dropped, I freaked out wondering if we're going to make it home from the airport in time to watch LOST. Clearly, there is something terribly wrong with me. El TiVo will help us catch up anyway so it's not ( Read more... )

OMG ... I choked on my drink reading this!

At first when you said that he was way taller than you and you thought he'd stand behind you because you are wearing a v-neck, I thought you meant you figured he'd be trying to look down your shirt, lol.

The guy who brought his own gun? Scary. Not scary what happened to him, but scary that someone that stupid owns a gun.

As for the flying casings? In your cleavage? Seriously? I would so love to try and explain that injury to the ER people (particularly if it was a Dr. Jack clone). Or hell, if you'd shot anyone because of it, the explanation to the police. "I'm sorry officer ... I didn't mean to shoot that person, but you see, my breasts were under attack from some hot metal ... it was a mammatory reflex".

The idiot wasn't the owner of the gun, he was one of the people who had shot one before so the other guy let him use it while us n00bs were on the Remington.

Oh, trust me, my instructor wouldn't need to make any effort to look down my shirt. He towers over me so much that he gets a peek simply by looking at my face. He's gigantic.

Yay! Now you're a real bad-ass now. And the shotgun....well, Jack would be uber proud of that one.

Ouch...sorry about the bullet-casings coming your way. That sucks.

LOL. It's OK, it didn't sting that badly, it was just highly distracting and I feared for my girls. *pets them*

Wow, you're taking shooting lessons? Is it just for fun, or are you making sure you're prepared to help Team Jack?

Hehe. Just for fun, but I'm always willing to help my man, you know that.

Hey, are you OK? Healthwise, I mean. I haven't seen you around as much over the last few days so I hope you're just busy. :-*

Aw, thanks for asking. I'm OK. VERY stressed out because of the health issues I'm having, and feeling generally crappy most of the time -- but I'm hangin' in. Some days, I just don't feel very social. Maybe I'll make a blog entry about it.

'Course, there's almost nothing some Foxy can't help. :)

Haha Well, we've both majorly freaked out about the fact that your arrival is timed perfectly with the day the 2-hr finale will air (then I started getting giddy about the fact that we will be able to see both the S4 and the S6 finales together *fingers crossed* :D) and that we will probably be more like an hour and a half late in watching it. But it'll be fine as long as you make sure I don't drive like a crazy woman trying to get home (because I think we and cars are dangerous enough :p). It IS fun to watch with fellow obsessors - I miss the days Jen and I watched together. But this will be the first time I've watched with an online buddy, so I am OMG!excited.

Your shooting adventures, if a little scary ;), are very amusing. It's great seeing all the joy you get from it. :p

Of course I do. I intend to blog about Texas at large. :) Can't we like... stop on our way home and watch it in a bar with a TV or something? LOL. I'm really sorry I'm making you wait. It's no big deal to me cause it's on CA time anyway by the time we get to see it on TiVo, but dammit! I really wish I could have booked an earlier flight (I still can, but I'd have to pay penalties...)

Still shooting, huh? I'm SO envious. I wish I hadn't missed the shooting class in high school (yes, we had one!).

I've always had a thing for big knives -- the bigger the better (licking them off included ;)). I'd never trade a manual gear box for an automatic one. Then this mental image of a Remington on hands of a petite redhead Claudia... Girl, what would Freud say about us? ;D

LMAO! OK, I guess I'm way more lazy than I am kinky because I despair at the thought of having to drive stickshift again. It's just so much more convenient. But um... Yeah. Bigger is better.
