I am a huge nerd and since the Lost finale hit all those nerdy buttons and hit them just right, I actually took notes and they're just as random and nonsensical as you'd expect from me.

I wanted to put it all together and write a review worthy of an episode I loved (I *know*! But it was just that good), but I'm so TIRED I just want to sleep this ( Read more... )

the jack show, lost, tv

Wow. Your love of Jack's can make you type an insane amount of detail.

Well you know i didnt like it. I can completely understand how all the women loved it. Women love the weird angsty stuff. But that was the twist? Lame. Lost. Lame. Lame Lost. Lame.

But Jack was still cool. Even though I'm tired of the characters. We completely agree on Jin. Love that guy. My list goes, Jack, Jin, Sayid, Sun, Juliet, and Ben. The rest could have drown with Charlie. lol.

I'm gonna roll my eyes and try not to poke fun at you 'Jaters' next season. Cause if i hear Kate starts macking on Jack, which she will. I'm gonna laugh. But seriously, that last scene, was so lame. Lost went all out. No denying it anymore. Lost is a bad romance novel.

Heh. Some people would say my obsessive compulsive personality makes me type an insane amount of detail (I do it with 24 too, but the liveblogging means I have to cut out a lot). But we'll go with love of Jack instead. Requires less medication ( ... )

Okay, that was my extreme simplification of it. You like your angsty Jack's and thats all I'll understand. Because i have no idea how chicks minds work. Lol.

No i figured you weren't. It's hard to take anything seriously on the show anymore. And yeah, Kates defined by her men. So its hard to see any point to her. Which is why i love Juliet. And have a hard time seeing how any man would choose Kate over Juliet. The only thing they could argue is "Oh, but he already fell in love with Kate.". And I'll still have my gripes about that.

Awww, you haven't been this excited about a Lost episode like this in a long time. It's cute! :D

Some of this I can't comment on but you know I like making random comments....

1) I would prefer if the Island is the present, and TTLG is like a glimpse into the future but I doubt it. I hate that Jack being an alcoholic suicidal junkie and Kate as a big bitch is inescapeable. It depresses me.

2)The beard has left me traumatised. I may need counselling.

5) Jin is smart. Jack's awesomeness transcends language barriers I tell you.

8) I HATE Sarah. But I never liked her. Even when she couldn't walk. Although that might be a reflection of my cold, cold heart. Heh

19) I LOVE Juliet. Seriously. It was tentative before, because you know the whole evil thing. Now I just accept it. But I'll hold my breath until the writers do what they do with every other female character on this show, make her: pregnant/stupid/dead

It's cute!

I love being a nerd! It's why I got so into Lost in the first place. I can't do it when it sucks though and it SUCKED most of this season.

1. I don't think it's inescapable in the long run (well, not for Jack... you can't really change who a person is at their most deep, self-centered, immature, SHALLOW level, not even if you have Desmond's superpowers), but I don't want those two years erased. I think they're necessary for Jack and where he goes from 2007 onward. I think he's not the only one who's trying to find the island.

5. LOL. So true. Jin (as well as Sayid when his brain's not zombified) is a decent human being and very close to Jack and Sayid as personality types. So I love him.

8. YOUR cold heart? She wouldn't give him a ride home. Grrrrrr... I can't even talk about her.

19. I think dead might be it before the others. And they might even try to bring the evil back. I seriously don't care.

I agree with you on a crapload of this, except Juliet. (And I'm not ENTIRELY sure it's the "character's" fault, sorry Elizabeth Mitchell!)

And I had to read number 3 a couple times before it really hit me. And I have no words.

And Foxy ROCKED in that scene this ep!

Hee. It's OK... Juliet and I clicked at some point and ANYONE who treats Jack right is on my good side, but she's a female character written by Lost TPTB. Of course they'll screw it up.

Aww, thanks. It's OK though. Like I said elsewhere, I don't remember much to begin with (except for the color of the wall for some reason) and it feels like it happened to someone else.

I, once again, agree with you on loads of things. Jin is really warming up to me, I always used to think him and Sun were just really boring with flashbacks and he was a jackass on the island, but he's really grown as a character and Sun has become much awesome ( ... )

Jin's had a quiet, understated but quite impressive character progression and I've grown very fond of him. There's just too few truly decent people on that island to ignore him.

Juliet PWNS Sawyer every. single. time. You know he digs it. In fact, for the next flashforward, I think we'll see that she makes him wear lacy underwear and he loves getting down on his knees to beg. He never calls her anything but Mistress.

Oh, THANK YOU! I'm glad that you agree with me about the timeline, though I'm not sure Darlton do. And yes, I'd like to see the island explored from the outside because they've done sort of a crap job of exploring it from the inside.

The episode was that good.

1- this is not the end and Jack will have another future that involves finding the island, etc.
I really hope you´re right, and you might just be. TPTB wouldn´t let Jack just end up like that, right? You´ve got to bring the hero down to let him rise up again, right?

2- I didn´t really hate the beard, it was funny though, I don´t know why.
But it made total sense.

3- Jack and Sayid ALWAYS rock.

5- I noticed that too. Jin knows what´s best.

6- The Moses comment made me laugh too.

9- Rose was really funny. It would have been kinda cheesy if they have Jack say "Live together...", so they did a good job with that scene.

19- Don´t worry, I´m loving Juliet too. They´ll screw her up soon enough though:/

20- I guess that was our traditional Jack-Sawyer scene in the finale. I liker it, when the matter is serious you can see that they do have a respect for each other.

Waiting for the second half of "The Jack Show" review.

1. I just wish people remembered this is ABC and primetime TV and not Scandinavian or French cinema. Can you imagine them showing the same freaking thing THREE years from now? 2007 Jack in 2010?

5. Jin is just awesome and one of the few truly decent people on that island. Must be cause he doens't get a lot of screentime.

Unfortunately, I was out late so I'm too tired for part 2. I should have the rest of my ramblings up tomorrow though.
