Goddamn stupid companies

Been having a lot of trouble with Bulldog. When we moved into our apartment, in November, we discovered that the previous tenants had signed up for this service. When we dial 150, which should bring us through to BT so that we can get our account set up, it goes straight to Bulldog's customer service instead. Note that these are the very ( Read more... )

Nightmare. At least you have the ref# now, next time you ring you don't have to start explaining all over again - one of their techniques is to get you to endlessly repeat your story while they figure out how to get rid of you.

I just really don't understand what they're trying to achieve... I'm not paying them anything, the previous people aren't paying them anything, after what they've put us through I've no intention of signing up with them... no-one gets anything out of this situation *sigh*

Well, that was pretty cheeky, but on the other hand, that's some useful information you've given me there, so on the whole I guess I forgive you ;)

I've started a formal complaint through Bulldog's official process; Ofcom don't want to know unless you've already tried that, as far as I can tell from their website.

I might also try ringing BT, although I'll have to do it from work, since I can't make any calls with the phone at home...
