so.....i beat revelations

Despite the fact that it is almost Christmas I've been feeling restless, moody, and over-emotional. I guess you could call it the Christmas blues except for the part where I don't think it is at all.

The fact that I beat Revelations last night and watched Embers just now is probably not helping. ( SPOILERS for Revelations and Embers behind the cut )

spoilers, assassin's creed, far too emotionally attached to fictiona

**hugs.** I'm sorry you're not feeling in a festive mood! I've been floating back and forth between festive, frustrated, and everything in between. I don't think I have Christmas blues, either; in my case I think it's just my usual mood swings.

Ah, yes, fiction can definitely play a part in feeling depressed. That's sad that they've shown both of those characters dying now! And it does sound like the games pack in a lot of feeling.

The extinguishing torches scene sounds very powerful. And slightly creepy; an extinguished torch is a funerary symbol.

*hugs back* I hear you on the mood swings. ._. I've been trying to just be productive and rouse myself out of this funk and it seems to be working somewhat.

I mean, I was expecting them to show their deaths, but it was still really sad. Especially with Altaïr, since you actually play through his final moments. .__. I was like, "I hate this game! I don't want to play any more!"

Ooh, I didn't know that. That's oddly appropriate for the scene, though.

That's good, at least!

That really does sound heart-wrenching. The only other game I know of where you play through a character's last moments is Crisis Core.

I wonder if that's what they had in mind....
