Why do people dislike holidays so much? The only one I can think of that is not hated is July 4th....but I'm sure someone hates it. I always hear about Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year's (resolutions), V-day....I guess not Labor Day. Perhaps I am too young....or dumb. That's probably it. I LOVE all holidays. Oh, me, that's me! I can't stand July 4th. Yet another reason for rednecks to get drunk and blow stuff up. I'm biased, though, 'cause that's the anniversary of mine and my first husband's wedding.

Stu got me a necklace from James Avery and I bought him The Simpson's Movie and a new pizza cutter....he really wanted it. It was not a really exciting day, but it's a nice excuse for a steak midweek. We had celebrated our anniversary the weekend before with a great chocolate pudding pie from Bon Appetit that I made. Stu bought a miniature rose bush which I may or may not have already killed....
