OK - some storylines:

Present i.e. kid!Gid verse, Etta the cat is pregnant. Anoush Kasabian's bringing in a creepy guy who I mentioned above to help with - and possibly cure forever, John's cancer. John discovered that he has a sister with Down syndrome who was shut away in a mental institution, may_susan. He's helping her re-adjust to real life. And Gid recently turned 13.

Future!verse - Gideon likes a girl name Bisjou, and wants to make her his girlfriend. (mun is a new player, a friend of Gid!mun's, username lookssoinnocent. John, sadly, can't stand her. Conflict is ensuing,

Awww, Etta. I frigging love that cat. Yay creepy guy (hopefully he IS going to cure our John and then we won't have to worry about his head anymore. That would make Amanda very very happy, obviously. <3 for John's sister (I love characters who are "non-traditional" or different.)

*frowns* Awww. Why does John not like her? (I imagine he has a good reason. He IS a reasonable man, after all!)

Also? Sera and everyone? We are SO getting a family "look" going on here. She and Amanda really do favor each other, and then looking at her near the boys, she TOTALLY looks like them too! Man, I'm good at finding PB's *fake-smug!*
