Do cheerleaders in high school actually wear their cheerleading uniforms all day like they always do in TV shows?

Not in my tiny little Charter HS. Dunno for sure about regular pubic HS but I'd think not. *shrugs*

At my high school, I think they just wore them on game days, or other days when the cheerleaders would perform for stuff. But yes, they really would wear them all day on those days. Honestly, I always thought it was strange, but whatever floats their boat, I guess ;)

We didn't have cheerleaders at my high school, but I knew some from other schools. They certainly didn't wear them all the time, but I think, like the above person said, they would wear them all day on game days.

But even that probably depends on the school/dress code/etc.

My high school cheerleaders wore pants and jackets on days we had football or basketball games.

I've always wondered this too. We don't really have many cheerleaders in Canada.
