That yknow, sorta gets interrupted and then Jack's not in the mood and omg, Ianto being all "well, look, I deserve this reward, oh yeah" so good even if yknow, he fed Evan the icecream. HAHA. I will never, ever get tired of outtakes and extended scenes and DVD extras from Gold Dust. It can be your alt-Season 6. Soon we will have to write (poorly derivative) fanfic to slake our thirst for the 'verse!

I'm trying to clean out my file folder, which is why this came out today. It was about 1/3 done and I puked the rest of it up. Ha ha1 I slay me!

I think I'd like to write more Gold dust, but I might be out of ideas. It looks like in the future I'll be doing it by prompt only.

It is something indeed. It's a bonus extra to one of the fandom's indispensable stories, and it's like getting an extra appendix of Tolkien or something. I can see why it became an outtake with Quality Time, but it's a fine standalone in its own right, and with these three every scene we get is another high-assay nugget.

So can I link it in recs part II tomorrow?
